MUMBAI: BIG Digital, the digital arm of Reliance Broadcasting Network launched music composer Daboo Malik’s debut album Love Ballads- Tu Mile Na Mile digitally.
Actor Sohail Khan, singer Akritti Kakkar and director Indra Kumar were the guests of honor at the launch.
This album will feature over 60 musicians of which 40 will comprise the string section, a very rare and unique feature in the music industry today, where everyone is experimenting with synthetically simulated sounds. Daboo Malik is among the rare breed who believe in presenting music to the listener the way it ought to sound, probably the first serious attempt by a new age music composer.
This is also a step towards combating music piracy. In this format no CDs of the album are cut but listeners can use various online mediums to listen and download the songs of their choice, effectively keeping the music pirates at bay.
