MUMBAI: Raga To Rock recently released the music of Nitish Pires’ Sarhadein.
Says Raga to Rock’s Ankush Shah, “Sarhadein is a Hindi rock album. The album speaks of breaking through the boundaries imposed by inherited traditions, mental, physical and spiritual limits. Sarhadein, sung and composed by the Nitish Pires Band, intends to be one such story.”
Nitish Pires played guitars in a band named ‘Parlay’ for two years, singing original compositions in English. With this Hindi album, Pires has broken the trend that a rock singer can only sing in English, claims a release. Pires’ first album Gulfam had won critical acclaim, adds the release.
