Music composer Illayaraja was rushed to hospital on Saturday after he complained uneasiness. Now actor and director Venkat Pbhura has assured everyone that his uncle, Illayaraja is doing fine and will be discharged from hospital today.
He informed everyone that music maestro Illayaraja underwent normal tests at the hospital and after the test, nothing serious came out. Prabhu tweeted, “For all isaignani fans and well wishers out there!! Raja pa is absolutely fine!! Just a general check up and few tests! He is back home today.”
Earlier the sources from hospital informed people that veteran composer was being evaluated for cardiac and gastrointestinal conditions. On August 15, the music maestro was rushed to Apollo hospital and after few tests, everything looked normal and nothing serious was pointed out in his health. The music composer will be discharged from the hospital today.

The 72 year old well known music composer, Illayaraja has composed over 5,000 songs so far in multiple language in his career in last three decades. He has composed for some hit songs like ‘Navagan’, ‘Sadma’, ‘Swathi Muthyam’, ‘Thever Magan’ and ‘Hey Ram’.
In 2010, the maestro was awarded with Padma Bhushan Award. Illayaraja has won four National Film Awards so far; three for Best Music Director and one for Best Background Score. He most recently worked in Amitabh Bachchan’s film Shamitabh, which also starred Dhanush and Akshara Haasan.
Illayaraja integrated folk in Tamil and also introduced western musical sensibilities into South Indian musical mainstream. He is well known for his background scoring and creating music by fusing symphonic orchestration with traditional Indian instruments. Illayaraja organized full symphony performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London I 1993 and with Ravi Shankar being the only Indian to ever do so, Illayaraja became the first Indian to compose a full symphony.
