The film ended on an open note which sparked rumors of its sequel. After all the speculated reports the director of the film, Pa Ranjith has finally confirmed on the same. The producer of the film Kalaipuli S Thanu stated that he is willing to give a green signal to the sequel. Moreover, Pa Ranjith was also positive when asked about the sequel of ‘Kabali’.
At the success party of the film the director hinted that he is very much willing to direct the sequel too. The crux of the issue is that the star of the film Rajinikanth has not yet confirmed on the same. No statement has been made by the superstar regarding the sequel.

‘Kabali’ is stealing all the records at the box office. The Hindi version of the film is not gaining high figures as the other languages. But the gangster flick has broken several records in the South film industry. With a huge worldwide release, the Rajini starrer is also gaining amazing overseas records.
