Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma seems to have achieved a very big milestone by successfully receiving a U certificate for his upcoming Telugu flick 365 Days. The film happens to be his first film to have been cleared by the CBFC with a U-certificate in the past two decades! Surely its something new for the director.
To express his excitement he took to his Twitter account and posted in Telugu stating that ‘365 Days’ is his first U-certified film in his 25-year-old film career. In this movie, the audiences will find love and affection instead of his usual films filled with crime and bloodshed. The film stars actors Nandoo and Anaika Soti in lead and is a story of a newly married couple.
Talking about the film RGV states that the story is not based on his own life and that according to him, the concept of marriage will soon be extinct. The director stated, “It’s the story of most couples nowadays. It’s not based on my marriage. I penned the screenplay keeping in mind the emotions of a couple by looking at marriage from very close quarters. I had a failed marriage. It was not because of my wonderful wife. It was because she got a bad husband.”
The film is all set to hit the theatres on May 15, 2015. May 15th will see a number of huge films releasing in south industry including Jyothika’s comeback film 36 Vayadhinile and Telugu film Pandaga Chesko featuring Ram, Rakul Preet Singh and Sonal Chauhan. Also the list of films set to release on May 15 includes Mad Max: Fury Road, Pitch Perfect 2, Bombay Velvet and Ishqedarriyaan.
