Anushka Shetty‘s much anticipated film Rudhramadevi has been creating waves on social media ever since the release date of the film was confirmed. As the lead actress also plays a pivotal role in S.S. Rajamouli‘s Baahubali, anticipation amongst the fans increased to catch the glimpse of the movie. The recently released trailer of Rudhramadevi looks dramatic and promising, but lacks the charisma that was brought by Baahubali‘s trailer.
One of the main reasons for which can be the comparatively poor graphics shown in Rudhramadevi‘s trailer against the Magnum Opus giant Baahubali. We agree that it is an unfair comparison given that S.S. Rajamouli‘s star studded film is India’s biggest motion picture and said to be the most expensive film ever attempted. Nonetheless Rudhramadevi‘s trailer gives us a glimpse of what awaits us when the film hits theaters on June 26.
The much awaited historic film is based on the life of Rani Rudhramadevi which will be played by Anushka Shetty. The gorgeous beauty displays some staunch sword skills in the trailer while keeping the audience under her spell with her utmost beauty in other sequences. The film also stars actors Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun and Nithya Menen in pivotal roles where Nithya Menen fans are more excited than everyone else put together! The cute Malayalam actress looks lovely in whatever small glance we caught of her in the trailer.
Rudhramadevi also stars actors Vikramjeet Virk, Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Suman, Adithya Menon, Aditi Chengappa, Catherine Tresa, Hamsa Nandini, Ajay, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Ahuti Prasad, Venu Madhav and Prabha amongst others in pivotal roles. Rapper Baba Sehgal has also been roped in to play the character of Naga Devudu in the film. Lead actors Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati also have S.S. Rajamouli‘s Baahubali coming out on July 10.
With an impressive star cast and direction of the Nippu filmmaker Gunasekhar, Rudhramadevi also has pioneer Ilaiyaraaja giving its soundtrack and background scores. Cinematography of the film has been done by Ajayanan Vincent and the film is being produced under director Gunasekhar‘s banner Gunaa Team Works.
