[tps_footer]Post Bodyguard, Alvira Agnihotri and Atul Agnihotri are ready with their next film O Teri. Presented by Salman Khan the film stars Pulkit Samrat, Bilal Amrohi and Sarah Jaine Dias.
Pulkit made his debut in Bollywood with Kumar Mangat‘s Bittoo Boss and has also acted in Farhan Akhtar‘s home production Fukrey.
Salman Khan seems to be very upbeat about O Teri and said, “Pulkit came with the script and I really liked it. The film turned out to be good. I am also doing a song in it. I would like to do guest appearance in other films, but wouldn’t want to do a film like that because actor in me will get killed. I want to do keep doing larger than life roles.”
THIS IS WHAT SALMAN KHAN HAD TO SAY ABOUT O TERI:
A dekko of the trailer O Teri reveals many similarities when compared to the 1983 Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. Both movies are satires on the corrupt system. But the similarities between the two films doesn’t end there. Here’s why:
This is the basic premise of O Teri: The movie has two dumb reporters in Delhi, Pulkit Samrat as Prantabh Pratab (P.P) and Bilal Amrohi as Anand Ishwaram Devdutt Subhramaniyam (A.I.D.S). Walks in a girl, Sarah Jaine Dias who will use them to get her work done.
Things take a turn when they get a whiff of big scam. They also get a clinching proof against a big politico in the shape of a dead body (Anupam Kher). Finally a bridge goes down in the city and the two reporters are witness to it.
Now rewind to Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. The film had two dumb photographers Naseeruddin Shah as Vinod Chopra and Ravi Baswani as Sudhir Mishra. Walks in Bhakti Barve as Shobha Sen who uses them to get her work done.
Things take a turn when they get a whiff of a murder as well as a big scam. They also get a clinching proof against a big politico in the shape of a dead body (Satish Shah). And finally a bridge goes down in the city and the two are witness to it.
TAKE A LOOK AT THE TRAILER:
