Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming film Bombay Velvet is already in talks since its inception. With the second trailer launch of the film, the latest buzz is cricketer Virat Kohli will make his Bollywood debut in Bombay velvet opposite ladylove Anushka Sharma.

According to the latest news, Virat Kohli will also feature in the movie with his ladylove Anushka Sharma. Reports suggest that Virat Kohli will be seen sharing a few important scenes with Anushka. In fact Virat’s role is inspired from his real life, where he plays a cricketer in the film.

There is no official announcement of Virat’s debut in Bombay Velvet. Film is in the sets of 60s, considering that Virat may play the role of any cricketer from that generation.

Bombay Velvet, based on historian Gyan Prakash‘s book Mumbai Fables, narrates the story of how the city in ’60s became a metropolis. The film is set to release on May 15, 2015. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in lead roles with Kay Kay Menon, Manish Choudhary, and Siddharth Basu appearing in supporting roles.
