MUMBAI: Wonder what director Kabir Khan did with his lead actors of New York? Both, John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh are behind bars. Well, not in real life, but for their respective films.
Abraham has been shooting in Hyderabad for more than a month now with the unit of Hook Ya Crook, directed by David Dhawan. The film is about a few prisoners who attempt to play a cricket match to escape the confines of jail. When we contacted Abraham he replied with a smiley for a response, refusing to disclose anything about his role or the film.
As for Neil, he is behind bars for Madhur Bhandarkar’s Jail. Looks like the dostana that the duo shared on the sets of Khan’s New York has extended to the two of them choosing similar films.
In New York, Neil and Abraham become friends in a college campus, who then decide to share accommodation in the expensive city of New York. A terror attack leaves Abraham in jail… Looks like this is yet another cute couple in the making. Is Karan Johar listening?
