MUMBAI: Kunal Khemu and Fardeen Khan are the latest best buddies in tinsel town. The two met for the first time on the sets of Jai Veeru and with the story revolving around the two of them, both the actors had only each other for company, a good friendship was formed off the sets too.
While both of them would discuss work outs and film on the sets, sometimes they would drive back together after pack up. “But it was the Goa trip that got both of us to know each other better. We were in Goa for eleven days and after one such day of intense action shooting, we were invited to action master Allan Amin’s house for dinner. Allan has a house in Goa, and we decided to rent jet skis and go to his place instead of taking the road transport. We rode on jet skis from the river, which was nice and placid and then we hit the sea. Suddenly the water was rough and choppy. It was an awesome ride. And as Allan’s house is on the beach front, we literally parked outside his house. It was an out of this planet experience.”
Should the friendship off the sets translate onto celluloid, both these actors will have a grand time entertaining their audiences. Jai Veeru is a story based on two guys who are from opposite sides of the law and what happens when they have to be together to protect their lives. This film will release on 11 March.
