MUMBAI: Mani Shankar will premiere his new film Mukhbir at the ongoing 10th Osian’s-Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema in Mumbai on 14 June.
The film will be premiered at 9 pm at the NCPA. The star cast of the film includes Om Puri, Suniel Shetty, Sameer Dattani, Rahul Dev, Jackie Shroff and Raima Sen.
An action thriller, Mukhbiir is about a young man spying the underworld. The many masks he chooses to wear to enact a desperate drama where forgetting the lines means instant death – many lives he has to live through the many deaths he has to die. It is a gripping film about those rare few who chooses to become hunted shadows so that other may live in peace.
“I am delighted that my forthcoming film, Mukhbir, is being premiered at the 10th Osian’s-Cinefan Film Festival, which is committed to bringing to audiences the finest films from India, Asia and the Arab countries and I am eagerly looking forward to this splendid event," said Shankar.
