MUMBAI: PVR Cinemas hosted a special screening of the animation movie Jumbo for over 150 underprivileged children, along with an interactive session at PVR Premiere in Saket.
Jumbo is produced by Percept Picture Company and has voiceovers by Akshay Kumar and Dimple Kapadia amongst others.
In its initiative to bring smiles on the faces of these children PVR organized a fun, knowledge-based activity besides the film. The event that was planned to involve active participation of kids saw children take over the stage.
PVR corporate social responsibility (CSR) head Deepa Menon said, "It is our continuous endeavor to bring smiles on children’s faces. With this film festival we aim to introduce fun especially so the kids have a wonderful New Year. We wish a very Happy New Year to all the children."
