MUMBAI: Shemaroo Entertainment launched the home video of Mughal-e-Azam.
The home video of Mughal-e-Azam has several bonus features like its premiere, interviews, how it happened: colorization process, deleted song and theatrical trailer.
Mughal-E-Azam is a bench mark of Indian Cinema that depicts a story of an era that was grand and royal. Like the era, the film too was a paradigm of extravagance and enormity. The film released on 5 August, 1960 and was premiered simultaneously in 150 theatres all over the country. Produced at a cost of Rs 1.5 crores then, it was the biggest money grosser in those times. It took 500 working days to make the film.
Mughal-e-Azam DVDs and VCDs are priced at Rs. 299 and Rs. 99 respectively.
