In Bombay circuit alone the movie has grossed Rs 10 million (Rs 1 crore). It released in India alongside Yash Raj Films’ Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi directed by Aditya Chopra, which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma.
The Day the Earth Stood Still raked in $31 million in the US. It also added $39 million in 90 overseas markets. The film’s worldwide collection is $70 million.
