Hollywood production giant 20th Century Fox will be opening its theme based amusement park in Dubai in 2018. The studio is investing a lump sum amount for the same, which is almost worth a billion dollars according to sources. After opening a highly successful theme park in Malaysia, 20th Century Fox is all set to explore opportunities in Dubai in association with Al Ahli Holding Group – a Dubai based estate developer group.
The theme park will include some of 20th Century Fox‘s best films till date including the iconic ‘Titanic’ which will have its own boat included in the settings at the theme park. Joining Titanic would be films like Ice Age, Rio, Planet of the Apes, Aliens, and Night at the Museum along with hit TV shows like The Simpsons and Sons of Anarchy. This will surely boost the reputation of Dubai, as it is already one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world.

Apparently the investment being made for the same is around $850 million approximately according to US magazine. Which is quite a whooping amount being put forth by 20th Century Fox. The studio is following the footsteps of Disney and Universal by expanding its reach in form of investment in destination entertainment. The studio is also promising life like theater experience at the amusement park which will provide an enthralling experience to the viewers.
The ‘Titanic’ ride is being constructed at the amusement park that will launch almost three years from now. The film that released in 1997 starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in lead roles, and involved the tragedy of the real life incident. The Dubai resort will surely boost its economy with this upcoming venture. 20th Century Fox Consumer Products President, Jeffery Godsick is looking forward to build a tremendous amount of fan engagement with the theme based amusement park.
