MUMBAI: UTV Entertainment Television Ltd (UETL), that houses UTV Movies and World Movies, has signed a satellite syndication deal with Zee TV.
The company has licensed rights of its 21 films on a non-exclusive basis for India and overseas to Zee.
The movies, which will be telecast on Zee TV and Zee Cinema in the coming months include Jodhaa Akbar, Race, Life… in a Metro, Mumbai Meri Jaan, A Wednesday and Welcome to Sajjanpur amongst others.
Most of these movies have already had a run on Hindi movie channel UTV Movies.
