The scenes having Abhishek Bachchan had to be omitted from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham to cut short the length of the film.
When it comes to Bollywood, who doesn’t know the Karan Johar’s iconic film, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham? The Bollywood family drama is one of the clichés of Dharma Productions, and is loved even today by the audience.
Right from the hit songs like Bole Chudiyan and Shava Shava to the star cast of the film, the movie had enough reasons to be watched by the audience. The multi-starrer film, having Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, was a blockbuster at the box office.
The movie was released in 2001 and back then there were rumours of Abhishek Bachchan doing a cameo in the film. But the actor never showed up in the movie.
But now we have the proof that Abhishek indeed was a part of the film. There has a video surfaced on the net which contains several scenes which couldn’t make it to the final film. In the video, Karan Johar, the director of the film, explains why this montage sequence was not a part of the film. The film was getting too lengthy and hence the editors had to give up on this part.
The video is a hilarious one showing some funny scenes between Shah Rukh and Kajol and Hrithik-Kareena as well. The video features the little and cute banters between them. Amidst their amusing scenes there is also a very short scene of Abhishek Bachchan, which was the cameo of the actor.
Watch the video here as there is a lot of Kareena’s ‘Poo’ quotient, Kajol’s patriotic feelings for Bharat Mata and not to miss – Abhishek’s never seen before role in the movie!
