Amitabh Bachchan And Jaya Bachchan Reunite On Silver Screen After 14 Years!

Yes, we are talking about Bollywood’s Big B, Amitabh Bachchan and his loving wife and one of the most talented actress Jaya Bachchan! Bollywood’s power couple Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan will be sharing the screen space with each other after a long time in filmmaker R Balki’s upcoming romantic drama film Ki and Ka.

The two superstars will be making their comeback on the silver screen as a pair after almost 14 years. We last saw Big B and Jaya in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Prior the two were also seen in films like Sholay, Silsila, Mili, Ek Nazar, Abhimaan, Chupke Chupke, Bansi Birju and few more films.

In their upcoming film, the two will be seen playing themselves. Everyone’s favourite couple was recently spotted shooting for their part on the sets of Ki and Ka. The pictures of Amitabh and Jaya together will be the best thing you see today. Apparently, the two shot for their part in the film in their own house in Mumbai. However, some of the parts were shot in a hotel.

It was a big moment not only for Ki and Ka’s team or fans but also for Big B. The star took to his official blog and expressed his feelings by writing, “I work… I work with the wife… I work for R Balki… for his new film that he makes with Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor… called ‘Ki and Ka’… and if you know anything about Balki, you will realise that his titles are most fascinating…”

Apart from Big B and Jaya Bachchan, we’ll also get to see Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in the film. Arjun Kapoor is on the sky high right now. As he got the chance to share the screen with Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, the star crossed a wish from his bucket list. Arjun took to twitter to share his overwhelming excitement. He tweeted, “Can knock this dream of my bucket list, getting to work with @SrBachchan and Jaya Aunty. Beat u to it @juniorbachchan”

This is for the first time that Jaya Bachchan and R Balki have teamed up together, whereas Amitabh Bachchan has earlier worked with the director in Cheeni Kum, Paa and Shamitabh.

In director R Balki’s Ki and Ka, we will see Arjun romancing with Kareena for the very first time on the silver screen. In this upcoming romantic film, both the stars will be seen in a whole new different avatar. The film is about two people with different ideologies and views.

In R Balki’s Ki and Ka, Kareena will be seen playing a career oriented corporate wife, whereas Arjun plays the role of a progressive stay-at-home husband who supports his wife’s ambitions. In a statement earlier, the film’s director revealed the secret behind Ki and Ka, “It is titled ‘Ki and Ka’. Hindi is a language where just not human beings, even objects have genders. This film is all about the fact that ‘Ki and Ka’ genders don’t matter.”
