Horror is Bipasha Basu’s thing. Whenever she works in a horror film, it often makes box office happy. Raaz gave her identity while Raaz 3 gave her the belief that people still want to see her. Now we hear the lady is ready to evoke some chills with Alone. But she won’t be alone here.
Television’s heartthrob Karan Singh Grover has been signed to play the lead opposite her. It was Bipasha who spilled the beans about her new project on twitter. She wrote, “A Love story with Chills, my new film is tentatively called Alone co starring Karan Singh Grover!” The film is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Pradeep Aggarwal.
Alone is a Hindi remake of a Thai horror film by the same name which was a huge hit across the globe. It is a chilling story of a Siamese twin who comes back from dead to torment the surviving sister. Apparently, it is loosely based on Agatha Christie’s Elephants Can Remember.
The cast is unusual but given Karan’s popularity among females, the film will get the right response. Well, we hope it is as scary as the original Thai film.
