2012 was a big year for 28 year old actor Varun Dhawan, as he was all set to step into Bollywood with Karan Johar rom-com drama Student Of The Year. The actor played the role of Rohit Nanda, son of a rich businessman. The film also starred two new comers, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. Varun’s performance in the film was loved by the audiences and he instantly gained overnight fame. The actor was nominated for a Filmfare award for Best Male Debut. The star won Stardust Award for his Best Breakthrough Performance – Male in Student Of The Year.
