Varun Dhawan, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer film ‘Dishoom’ has gained good collections. The film was highly promoted before its release and the viewers were also excited for the film. Nevertheless, even with a huge hype it could get an average opening of 30% only. The Indian collection of the film is not too high. The film has surpassed its first weekend at the box office.
‘Dishoom’ directed by Rohit Dhawan is action oriented. The film has received average reviews. While some have termed it as an entertainer some have called it a no-brainer. The movie has fared amazingly well in its worldwide collections. ‘Dishoom’ has earned 65 crore net approx. in its worldwide market.
The film is the highest earner for Varun Dhawan in the overseas except for ‘Dilwale’ which was mainly a Shah Rukh Khan film. The Varun–John starrer film might gain the total of $2 million. The earnings from the markets of Gulf, US/Canada, UK and Australia come to $1.5 million. Varun Dhawan’s film ‘ABCD 2′ gained $1.45 million whereas ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ gained over $1 million.
