MUMBAI: Barely halfway through her teens, and star kid Jhanvi Kapoor aka Sridevi’s daughter is already leaning towards stardom…
The 16-year old girl, who is always seen alongside her gorgeous mother Sridevi at award functions and red carpet events, is already creating interest in the film industry. Reportedly, talent scouts from the South film industries have noticed her, and have started approaching her with film offers.
Revealed a source: “Sridevi has a major fan following down South and she is well connected in the industry and Jhanvi has been getting a lot of offers from Southern producers planning Hindi projects.”
Just like her mother, who began her career as a child artiste down South, industry insiders are keen on seeing Jhanvi accomplish the same. Added the source, “She has been offered a film opposite Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi’s son and also another film with Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya. But her parents believe that she is too young to start in the industry.”
Sridevi had recently said she would like her daughter to first think about completing her education, before even attempting to enter Bollywood.
Confirmed the source, “Allu Arvind, Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju, all major filmmakers from the regional industries have contacted her father Boney, but as of now he has said no.”
Either ways, fans of Sridevi would love to see her young daughter carry the mantle forward, if and when she does decide to join films.
