After Ghanta awards its Kela Awards for the Bollywood. Kela Awards are the Indian version of Hollywood’s Raspberry awards that are in satirical way. The awards are the satirical take on Bollywood that take the worst performances of the year.
Sajid Khan’s 2014 Humshakals, which was badly panned by the critics leads at the 7th Annual Kela Awards for the worst performance of the year.
The film gets nominated for five different categories including worst actor Saif Ali Khan and worst director Sajid Khan. The movie is also nominated for the ‘most atrocious lyrics’ and also for ‘Bawaara hogaya Hai’ award.
Other songs that compete each other for the most atrocious lyrics are Sameer for ‘Caller Tune’, Shabbir Ahmed for ‘Ice Cream’, Yo Yo Honey Singh for ‘Blue hai Paani Paani‘, Vishal Dadlani for ‘Tu Meri‘ and Mayur Puri for ‘Johnny Johnny‘.
Other movies that are nominated under the worst film of the year are Salman Khan’s Kick, Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year and Hrithik Roshan’s Bang Bang. Amazingly all the three movies were the best movies of the year and were loved by the audiences.
Ajay Devgn’s Action Jackson was also not spared in the Kela Awards nominations. The film is categorized under four nominations for worst film, worst actor, worst director and worst actress.
Humshakals actor Saif Ali Khan is also nominated for the worst actor along with Arjun Kapoor for Gunday, and Salman Khan for the Kick.
Its not the end the awards also categorized for the worst actress awards. Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Sonam Kapoor are nominated for the worst actress awards.
2014 hits songs, ‘Blue Hai Paani Paani‘, ‘Yaar na Miley‘, ‘Baby Doll‘, ‘Galliyan‘ and ‘Tu Mera‘ have been nominated for the most irritating song of the year.
