Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 10 Will Not Be Aired!

Uri terror attack has created tension between the two countries, India and Pakistan. The film industry is divided now with the decision of banning Pakistani actors. Following the Uri and other terror attacks, political parties demanded a ban of Pakistani artists and were asked to leave the country in 48 hours. Following the protest, the Indian motion picture producers’ association (IMPPA) banned Pakistani actors and technicians from working in Bollywood.

Not staying quiet, Pakistan has also decided to ban telecast of Indian content. Reportedly, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) has suspended the licences of media outlets airing Indian content without issuing prior notice. Before the ban, Pakistan media aired 6% Indian content in a day but now they have been strictly advised to follow the new policy. This decision came just after Pakistani artists who were working in India received hate comments, where they were threatened and asked to leave the country.

Pemra in a statement said, television channels and FM radio stations and cable operators are strictly asked to stop airing of Indian content and follow the new policy. Well, with all Indian content being banned, this means Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 10 will not be telecast there and Pakistani nationals have made their decision evident on twitter

Also, Zindagi channel – the first to syndicate content from Pakistan and aired it in India, is also banning to telecast the shows In India. The channel is replacing the Pakistani shows with new fresh shows.
