MUMBAI: Kareena Kapoor, now Mrs. Kareena Kapoor Khan, is back to doing what she does best. At the recently concluded People’s Choice Awards held in Mumbai, Mrs. Saif Ali Khan was back in the arc lights, performing on stage.
The newlywed blushing bride seems to have recovered from the jetlag of her whirlwind wedding extravaganza, and is back in B’town. She was seen performing at the People’s Choice Awards.
The Bollywood lass was seen setting the stage on fire, with her sizzling dance moves. Kareena performed to her greatest hits, including ‘Chammak Challo’ from Ra.One and ‘Halkat Jawani’. Though it was previously billed as a joint performance of hers and hubby Saif, she had to perform solo. She had attended the awards function sans Saif Ali Khan, who she said was not feeling well and hence decided to give the event a miss.
In her maiden performance post her wedding; Mrs. Kareena Kapoor Khan regaled her fans with her superhit numbers. Dressed head-to-toe as every inch the diva that she is, Kareena was radiant in a black sequined number. She even threw on a bright magenta skirt, looking like the superstar from ‘Heroine’. Her latka-jhatkas and thumkas were the highlight of the evening.
Hosting the show was funny man Ayushmann Khurana, at his wittiest best. Also seen were the Chopra cousins, Priyanka and Parineeti, the former superstar paying a tribute to Yash Chopra. Prabhu Deva too was seen entertaining the audiences with his signature dancing style.
