MUMBAI: After weeks of intense promotions by the rest of the cast and crew, producer/ actor Saif Ali Khan finally made an appearance at the ‘Go Goa Gone’ music launch on Thursday evening, here in Mumbai.
Making a rare appearance was Saif Ali Khan, chilled out as ever in a faded black tee and jeans, and long hair and a beard. The actor and producer of ‘Go Goa Gone’ took time out to speak about his latest zom-com film, which has generated a fair share of buzz already.
Also present at the music launch were actors Kunal Khemu and Pooja Gupta. Sadly though, comedian Vir Das and Anand Tiwari were missing in action. Their absence was made up for by director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K.
Songs from the ‘Go Goa Gone’ have already created waves, with zany, catchy lyrics in both ‘Slowly Slowly’ and ‘Khoon Choose Le’ getting the thumbs up from audiences of all ages. In fact, music composer duo Sachin-Jigar and singer Priya Panchal performed these catchy numbers at the opening of this event .
However, it remains to be seen how audiences will take to the film itself, being a marriage between the romantic comedy and thriller genres. ‘Go Goa Gone’ releases on 10 May, 2013.
