[tps_footer]Soha Ali Khan and Arshad Warsi are busy with the promotion of their upcoming film Mr Joe B. Carvalho through this festive season. Soha is very excited about her upcoming film but insists that the next film she takes up would be a romantic comedy.
A very upbeat Soha Ali Khan said, “I want to do a rom-com and I am eagerly waiting to do a rom-com. I have romanced before in Khoya Khoya Chand and other films, but I have never had an opportunity to do rom-com. I don’t like watching romantic comedies, but I want to work in one.”
The actress feels that comedy is a tough genre and it makes people look weird on screen. Taking up Mr Joe B. Carvalho, was a conscious decision on her part, as she wanted to break free from her serious image. Soha Ali Khan plays the role of a police officer named Shantipriya and would be seen assisting detective Carvalho (Arshad Warsi) in the film.

“Comedy requires certain expressions which don’t make you look beautiful or elegant on screen but I don’t mind making fun of myself. What I love about this movie is that for the first time I was given an opportunity to break the image of doing certain roles,” a confident Soha told us.
Soha Ali Khan for the first time would se seen wearing a bikini in the film.
“The bikini was the need of the script and the director was more shy than me. This movie is a very clean family entertainer. So we did not have to do anything needless to titillate the audience. I strongly feel that it’s absolutely a woman’s right to choose what to wear and what not to. As a professional when you are performing a character on screen, it is not open for any personal judgment,” said a confident Soha Ali Khan.
Mr Joe B. Carvalho is directed by Samir Tewari and is slated to hit theaters on January 03, 2014.
