Such was the press release issued by the Band! The other members of Blink-182, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, said that though DeLonge would be unavailable indefinitely, as per the email they received from his manager! But soon after, Tom DeLonge denied the news.
Tom DeLonge took to social media to clarify himself! He explained that it’s just that his availability to play with the band would be limited this year owing to other commitments that are immediate priorities. He maintained that leaving the band is nowhere on his mind.

Hoppus and Barker though called Tom’s behavior to be “disrespectful and ungrateful”! Barker even questioned DeLonge’s sincerity about reuniting the band after the drummer’s near-death in a plane crash a while ago. The duo complained that because of Tom’s erratic unprofessionalism they have had to apologise all the time, which is a humiliating experience. However, Hoppus maintained that they wish well for Tom DeLonge but the later should not hold back Blink-182 for his selfish interests!
