Grimmie started off as a YouTube singing sensation with a rather large and dedicated fan following before she was a part of the sixth season of “The Voice.” Her fans have been reeling from the shock and have been vocal about the same on social media. Mere hours before her untimely death, the singer posted a video on Twitter encouraging and urging fans to come out to the theater.

Nobody including the event organizers or the Police have any idea about how the gunman got a gun into the venue or whether attendees were checked for weapons. In any case, there will be a thorough investigation on this. “We don’t know if he was just a crazy fan that followed her on Twitter or on social media,” an Orlando police representative said. “We really don’t know … it’s undetermined at this point.

May her soul rest in peace.[/tps_footer]
