The Lonely Island which is helmed by a comic trio of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone has titled the film as ‘Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.’

The trailer sees Andy as Conner4Real and features real life artists like Joanna Newsom, DJ Khaled, Snoop Dogg, Simon Cowell, Carrie Underwood and two Adam Levine holograms.

‘Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping’ is produced by Judd Apatow. The Lonely Island is coming on the silver screens after their last movie in the year 2007 ‘Hot Rod’. The trailer of ‘Popstar’ shamelessly hints at the number of people required to make one pop star in today’s era. The trailer sees Sarah Silverman as the artist’s publicist and she says, “I’d love to get Conner to the point where he’s just kind of everywhere, like oxygen or gravity or clinical depression.”
Well, one cannot fail to notice the Justin Bieber like traits in Conner’s stints. Directed by The Lonely Island pillars Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, ‘Popstar’ is expected to hit the screens on June 3rd, 2016.
