Hollywood’s highly anticipated film ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ is steady shattering all records in terms of the movie’s pre-release records. Advance bookings for the premiere show have not only crashed the websites, but also surprised big theaters in USA and Britain where tickets are being sold. And you wouldn’t believe what the amount collected is! Well the comeback Star Wars film has managed to collect $6.5 million from its IMAX bookings alone!
Apparently the film has broken every record set by previous films in IMAX for advance bookings. $6.5 million that is Rs. 42 crores approximately. Star Wars: The Force Awakens has also sold around 10,000 tickets in the first 90 minutes at theaters in Britain. The weekend bookings of the show are being sold out faster than wildfire and this fire was set by the trailer that released yesterday.
