MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will be releasing This Is It on DVD and Blu Ray soon. The film about the late pop singer Michael Jackson will be out on DVD by 26 January, 2010.
This Is It is a documentary is made on the life Jackson. It captures Jackson’s final performances as he rehearsed for his concerts in London. Jackson died on 25 June just weeks before his concerts were to begin.
The DVD includes extra footage on the making of the film, costumes, dancer auditions and the performers’ memories of Jackson. The Blu-Ray will contain that footage, plus an additional half hour that includes alternate versions of videos of Thriller and Smooth Criminal.
