Till now we had no doubts that S.S. Rajamouli‘s Baahubali is a grand film set to create lots of records. And now the film has created a buzz once again by reportedly gearing up to shatter all records set previously. The film Baahubali which is set to release in four languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam will reportedly be screened across 4000 theaters worldwide. This will break the previous record set by Shankar-Vikram’s film I which released in around 3000 theaters worldwide.Makers of Baahubali are planning on a massive release where over 1500 theaters are being covered by the film’s Hindi version alone. In areas like Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, the screen count amounts to over 2000. Said to be India’s biggest motion picture and the most costliest film to be ever produced, Baahubali is certainly making new headlines everyday.
Showing some of the finest graphics we have ever seen, Baahubali’s trailer shows the epic war between two brothers to become the ruler of their kingdom. The trailer takes us through the entire journey of the character Baahubali who is worshipped as a demigod. From a vicious king, to atrocities on the poor, till the beauty of nature beyond limits the 2-minute trailer shows it all! Although at few places the graphics does seem a tad bit unpolished, overall we are impressed from what we see.
Star cast of the film boasts of a very impressive line up including actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati who will be seen playing the role of Baahubali and Bhallala Deva. Both the actors have undergone immense changes to fit into the characters’ shoes as we can see from the trailer. Baahubali will also see actors Anushka Shetty as Devasena, Tamannaah as Avantika, Sudeep as Aslam Khan, Sathyaraj as Kattappa, Nassar as Bijjala Deva, Ramya Krishnan as Sivagami and Prabhakar as Kalakeya amongst other cast of the film.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film has been produced by K. Raghavendra Rao, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. Arka Media Works is the Production Company and distributers of Baahubali. National Award winners V. Srinivas Mohan and Sabu Cyril have supervised the amazing visual effects and designed art of the film respectively. First half of the film will release on July 10.
