Malayalam industry two ace artists, actor Mohanlal and filmmaker Lal Jose are finally coming together for their next untitled venture. According to sources Lal Jose has himself confirmed the big news that the duo are indeed coming together for a film produced by Anthony Perumbavoor. Details of the rest of the cast and crew are unknown for now.
Earlier the buzz was that Lal Jose and Mohanlal have been sharing cold vibes due to their creative differences and other unfortunate circumstances. Lal Jose’s earlier two offers to the actor had gone downhill once due to Mohanlal’s issue with the production banner and the other due to his personal lack of confidence in the filmmaker’s credibility. Being the actor of his stature, Mohanlal has had his own creative differences with many in the industry.
Lal Jose is currently enjoying an apex position in his career as a filmmaker having given back-to-back hits in the past few years. The director who is known for his peculiarity in films is riding high on the success of his recently released flick Nee-Na starring Ann Augustine and Deepthi Sathi in lead roles. He will soon start filming his next film starring industry’s finest actor Nivin Pauly.
The 54-year-old superstar Mohanlal has been on the run with numerous projects and reports suggest that he will soon be taking a short break. The Drishyam hit maker who was recently in Mumbai is planning on taking a vacation to Japan with his family after his visit to the holy temple Sabarimala.
After his return from Japan, the actor will start shooting for Padmakumar’s Kanal in June first week. Mohanlal will also be working on his on going projects Ennum Eppozhum, Lailaa O Lailaaand Loham. After the shoot of Kanal, Mohanlal will next be working with director Vysakh for his film Puli Murugan. It’ll be exciting to see what this duo will offer to the audiences in the coming future.
