MUMBAI: Come December and HBO will treat viewers with a strong line up of Hollywood fare.
On 22 December, HBO will air its Blockbuster of the Month Christmas With The Kranks starring Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis and Dan Aykroyd at 9 pm. On 31 December, the channel will air ‘New Year’s Eve Treat: The Spider and The Cat’ from 10:45 pm. Movies aired in this block are Spiderman 2 starring Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst and Catwoman starring Halle Berry.
Troy will be aired on ‘Best of Blockbuster of the Month’ on 7 December at 9 pm. The film stars Brad Pitt, Eric Bana and Orlando Bloom. The final part of Peter Jackson’s Lord of The Rings: The Return of The King, will be aired on 14 December at 9 pm.
The cast of Ocean’s Eleven returns with its sequel Ocean’s Twelve. George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Catherine Zeta Jones and Matt Damon starrer Ocean’s Twelve will be aired on 21 December, whereas Anacondas: The Hunt For The Blood Orchid will be aired on 28 December.
In the ‘Best of Romance Blockbusters’ every Monday right after the 9 pm movie, HBO will air Jennifer Garner’s comedy 13 Going on 30 on 25 December. On 18 December, 50 First Dates will be aired at 9 pm.
Jack Ryan’s (Owen Wilson) life brings him to a stage where he has to choose one among woman, money and the honorable path. HBO traces his dilemma in The Big Bounce on 11 December.
Dennis Quaid and Topher Grace starrer The Good Company will be aired on 4 December.
HBO will also air a new premier every Saturday at 9 pm with ‘HBO Saturday Nights.’ Films that will be aired in this segment are Adventures of Shark Girl and Lava Girl (2 December), XXX: The Next Level (9 December), Kicking And Screaming (16 December), Two Brothers on (23 December) and King’s Ransom (30 December).
