MUMBAI: It’s Bond time on Star Movies with a glass of shaken-not-stirred martini.
As a run up to the theatrical release of the latest Bond film – Casino Royale on 17 November, Star Movies will be airing a month long extravaganza of James Bond movies staring 30 October. The festival called Absolute Bond, will have all 20 James Bond films being aired from Monday to Thursday at
Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and George Lazenby will invade television screens, which begings with Dr. No on 30 October followed by From Russia with Love on 31 October.
Dr. No (1963) stars Sean Connery, Ursula Andress, Joseph Wiseman and Jack Lord. Whereas From Russia With Love (1964) stars Sean Connery, Robert Shaw, Daniela Bianchi and Lotte Lenya.
On 1 November, Goldfinger starring Sean Connery, Gert Frobe and Honor Blackman will be aired. Thunderball will be aired on 2 November and stars Sean Connery, Claudine Auger and Adolfo Celi.
The channel will then air Diamonds Are Forever on 8 November, which stars Sean Connery, Jill St. John and Lana Wood. Live and Let Die starring Roger Moore, Jane Seymour and Yaphet Kotto will be aired on 9 November.
The Man With The Golden Gun will be aired on 13 November. The film stars Roger Moore, Christopher Lee and Britt Ekland. On 14 November, Roger Moore, Barbara Bach and Curt Jurgens starrer The Spy Who Loved Me will be aired.
On 15 November Moonraker starring Roger Moore, Lois
Octopussy will be aired on 20 November starring Roger Moore, Maud Adams and Louis Jordan. On 21 November View To A Kill will be aired starring Roger Moore, Christopher Walken and Grace Jones.
On 22 November, The Living Daylights will be aired, which stars Timothy Dalton, Maryam D’Abo, Jeroen Krabbe. Licence To Kill will be shown on 23 November starring Timothy Dalton, Carey Lowell and Robert Davi.
Goldeneye starring Pierce Brosnan, Famke Janssen and Sean Bean will be aired on 27 November, whereas Tomorrow Never Dies will be aired on 28 November. The film stars Pierce Brosnan, Jonathan Pryce and Michelle Yeoh.
World Is Not Enough will be aired on 29 November and stars Pierce Brosnan, Sophie Marceau and Denise Richards. The last film of the festival will be Die Another Day starring Pierce Brosnan,
