MUMBAI: Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra who recently sizzled in her first item number ‘Babli Badmaash’ for Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Shootout At Wadala’, will soon be dancing to another such sequence. And this time she is reportedly called ‘Pinky’.
‘Pinky’ will feature in Amit Mehra’s remake of the 1973 superhit film ‘Zanjeer’.
Singer Mamta Sharma, renowned for lending her voice to the catchy ‘Munni Badnaam’ in ‘Dabangg’ (2010) will be singing this number.
Said Mamta without giving out too much, “I have done a song for Priyanka in ‘Zanjeer’ that is being choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. You will get to hear it in say two months’ time when the trailer of the film will be out.”
‘Zanjeer 2.0’ directed by Apoorva Lakhia stars Telugu star Ram Charan Teja, Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj, Mahi Gill and Atul Kulkarni in lead roles. Due to legal hassles the film’s trailer has not yet been released. The tentative release date of the neo ‘Zanjeer’ is scheduled for the month of June 2013.
