Bipasha Basu and her then partner Dino Moreo in 1998 did a commercial for an international undergarments label. In the advertisement, Dino was seen pulling Bipasha‘s panties with his teeth, while the advertisement’s one-liner read; ‘And you thought your appetite for indulgence could only be whetted by Swiss chocolates’. The ad was labelled as extreme for Indian sensibilities. Apart from audiences, the then minister of state for cultural affrairs, Anil Deshmukh expressed his disapprovement on the advertisment and soon enough the campaign was called off.
