Hrithik Roshan Demands Rs 50 Crore For Mohenjo Daro?

After hearing this news, we wonder if the Greek God Hrithik Roshan is the highest paid actor in Bollywood. Reportedly, Hrithik Roshan has asked for a huge amount to be part of Ashutosh Gowariker‘s Mohenjo Daro.

As a source reveals, Hrithik has asked for Rs 50 crore. If the gossip mills is indeed true, the actor has inked the deal, it will make him the highest paid B-Town star!

Though the actor did not confirm having charged Rs 5o crore for Mohenjo-Daro, he said, “What I charge is my business. And would you be in a business which does not look like a profitable proposition? I’m justified,”

We heard rumours about Dharma Productions offering Salman Khan a sum of 150 crores for Shuddhi and Aamir Khan had also demanded the same amount to sign a Dharma Production film. However, this piece of gossip was rubbished by Johar himself.

Set in a period as early as 26th century BC, ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is a romantic drama based on the Indus Valley Civilization.

After Jodhaa Akbar, Mohenjo Daro will be the second film bringing together Hrithik, Gowariker, his production banner Ashutosh Gowariker Productions and UTV Motion Pictures. The film features Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles, and the film hits theatres in January 2016.
