Mahesh Bhatt’s Naamkaran To Go Off Air For This Reason?

Star Plus’s latest show Naamkaran went on air last month on September 12, 2016. The show is being directed by veteran director Mahesh Bhatt. Naamkaran received a lot of applauds for its powerful content and terrific performances. It is believed that the show is inspired from Mahesh Bhatt’s 1998 Bollywood film, Zakhm.  Also, there were rumor mills going around that the show is based on the life of the filmmaker. The show started its telecast after replacing Diya Aur Baati Hum on the channel. As far as the cast is concerned, Naamkaran comprises of a strong star cast including Barkha Bisht, Viraf Phiroz Patel, Reema Lagoo and Sayantani Ghosh.

Mahesh Bhatt‘s latest offering is being appreciated by the audiences, and despite being a high-content show we learn that Naamkaran will soon go-off air in November. The reason behind pulling off the show in November is quite obvious-low TRP ratings. Initially, before the onset of the show it was much awaited by the viewers but now it seems that makers have decided to pack up with the show. According to the sources, “Naamkaran did create quite a lot of buzz when it was about to launch but it all fizzled out soon. The makers had a specific story in mind and now, with the pressure of ratings weighing upon their shoulders, they decided to pull off the plug than continue it with mindless drama for the sake of numbers.”

Reportedly, we hear that the makers are working on the climax of the show and soon the show may come to an end. This would really disappoint all the viewers if the show is wrapped up just within one month of its launch.
