Earlier, we reported the shocking murder mystery on how Indrani Mukerjea, founder of 9X Media, and wife of former Star India CEO Peter Mukerjea, was arrested on Tuesday, August 25. Just over three years after Mumbai resident Sheena Bora went missing, the police have arrested Indrani Mukerjea after being accused of murdering her sister and dumping the body in the ravines of Maharashtra’s Raigad district.
The murder case has a new twist and turn, after the police investigation was carried on Wednesday. According to the reports, Indrani Mukerjea has confessed to the police that Sheena Bora was her daughter and not sister. It came out after the police investigated, which lead to Sheena’s brother confirming the fact that Indrani was their mother.
The police have also arrested Indrani’s ex husband Sanjeev Khanna, who is also said to be partner in crime in killing Sheena. While the reports also suggest that Sheena Bora was Indrani’s daughter, and her present husband Peter Mukerjea wasn’t aware of it.

Peter said that he was in shock, and that he would co-operate with investigators in the probe. All these years, he was being told that she was her sister, not daughter. He was also not aware about Sheena missing.
Meanwhile, Indrani was produced before Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate court, which remanded her in police custody till August 31.
The entire incident came into limelight, when driver Shyam Manohar Rai (43) spoke about the whole incident, when he was arrested in connection with an illegal arms case on August 21. He confessed about his involvement in the murder of Sheena. Reportedly, he also revealed that the mastermind behind the whole plan was Indrani Mukerjea.
Earlier, police who investigated the whole situation didn’t believe on the drivers words, but when they discovered that Sheena had been missing since 2012, they informed the Raigad police. After the officers reached the spot, they found the remains of the woman.
