MUMBAI: Hollywood biggie ‘The Wolverine’ starring Hugh Jackman has roared into theatres on 26 July, 2013.
The action film, directed James Mangold and produced by Marvel Entertainment has wowed domestic audiences in its opening weekend.
The film, which also stars Hiroyuki Sanada, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Famke Janssen, garnered an average opening of Rs 102.4 million (Rs 10.24 crore) net in its debut weekend in India, across all languages (English and dubbed into regional languages).
‘The Wolverine’ is set to get even bigger over the coming week, despite competition posed by Bollywood releases like ‘Issaq’, ‘Nasha’ and ‘Bajatey Raho’ (SEE REPORT HERE)
