PHOTOS: Snoop Dogg All Set To Enthrall Fans In India

Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion speaks during a media gathering in Mumbai, India on January 10, 2013. The American rapper will perform in Pune and Delhi later this week.

MUMBAI: American rapper and platinum recording artist Snoop Dogg is in the house! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Snoop Dogg is all set to kick off his maiden India tour this week!

Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion arrived in Mumbai a couple of days ago, and immediately got to work announcing his India tour at a packed press conference in the city. Last evening, Snoop Dogg announced his grand plans to enthrall die-hard fans at concerts in Pune and Delhi, scheduled for later in the week. Dressed in a typical rapper outfit, Snoop displayed how amazingly cool he is in a black tracksuit, loads of bling, a Bob Marley-esque beanie hat and multi coloured sunglasses. Swag!

Snoop Dogg even revealed his immense love and admiration for Bollywood, and said he is more than game for a future potential collaboration with Bollywood actors and music artists. Snoop Doog’s fans have even more reason to rejoice now: for he quite well may be seen in a Bollywood film someday in the future!

Bollywood wasn’t far behind in welcoming Snoop into India. It was but natural that they hosted a huge bash to celebrate the rapper’s arrival in our fabulous country. Just as the tradition in Bollywood is to welcome foreign guests with a lavish party, this time around they did just that for Snoop as well.

Snoop walked in straight from his press conference; with only his sunglasses seeing an alteration in attire. We spotted ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ boy Ranveer Singh, who’s quite the closet rapper himself (who can forget his rap song in ‘Ladies Vs. Ricky Bahl) in a funky printed Manish Arora type jacket, Minissha Lamba, Salim Merchant, Shweta Salve (in very ethnic, very funky grey dhoti pants and a white shirt with a grey vest), choreographer Terence Lewis, handsome hunk Dino Morea, Sophie Chaudhry, Evelyn Sharma, and Prateik Babbar. The music industry was represented by Hard Kaur and Vishal Dadlani. All the celebs had a rocking time, parting with Snoop Dogg. SEE PHOTOS
