One of Hollywood’s hottest couples actors Sean Penn and Charlize Theron recently attended the premiere of latter’s film Mad Max: Fury Road on the second day of the 68thAnnual Cannes Film Festival. Where the duo was seen posing together amidst endless flashes of shutterbugs, we spotted the actors having a Bollywood moment!
As you can see in the picture, the lovebirds cannot stand the distance between them and are reaching out to each other in a rather filmy way! Mad Max: Fury Road lead actress Charlize Theron made a striking appearance at the gala event in her Christian Dior haute couture where partner Sean Penn accompanied the tall and beautiful actress for the big day.
Earlier in an interview Theron had openly admitted her deep love for Sean Penn by saying ‘he’s the love of my life’. The duo was said to be secretly engaged at the end of 2014 and have already started planning their special D-day. At this year’s Cannes event we also got a glimpse at what looks like an engagement!
Now the couple hasn’t openly admitted to being engaged but if that ring on Theron’s finger is in fact an engagement ring, then Sean Penn has done one heck of a job! From the looks of it the ring is a pear shaped diamond ring between six to eight carats and the engraved band is presumably platinum.
The entire cast of the film was present at the event. Actors Charlize Theron, Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, George Miller, Courtney Eaton and producer Dough Mitchell stole the show at the premiere event. Set to release today on May 15, Mad Max: Fury Road is an apocalyptic story based in the stark desert landscape where humanity has ceased to exist and the people have gone crazy due to its aftereffects. Fighting for basic necessities of life, the desert’s rule is simple: survival of the fittest. But like always there’s good, bad and the ugly.
