Hollywood band Coldplay headlined the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show showcasing some of their biggest hits of all time in the most colourful way possible. The British band opened their act with their hit song ‘Viva La Vida’ following with ‘Paradise’ and ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’.  The band’s lead singer Chris Martin jumped with the crowd with a ton of dancers surrounding the ground with the Technicolor theme.

But, it was Beyonce and Bruno Mars’ astounding performances that stole the show from Coldplay. After their first act, Coldplay gave the stage to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars. The latter entered the stage in the old-school hip-hop style and performed on their hit song from 2015. ‘Uptown Funk’.

Then, came Beyonce and proved that there is a reason she is called the Queen. The singer hit the stage in her militant get-up through which she paid homage to Michael Jackson‘s Super Bowl XXVII performance. Beyonce’s Dsquared2 leather jacket was a fitting tribute to the King of Pop. The singer made her presence felt starting off with her song ‘Formation’ the new single and music video which she dropped only 24 hours before the show.

Then came Bruno and Beyonce’s dance off to ‘Uptown Funk’ and were later joined by Chris Martin. After that, Coldplay took back the stage and performed ‘Clocks’ while a video montage was played that showed the many A-listers to perform halftime shows in years past- Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson, James Brown, etc.

In all, Beyonce and Bruno dominated the show and it was one heck of a performance.[/tps_footer]
