MUMBAI: ‘Zilla Ghaziabad’ directed by Anand Kumar and produced by Showman International, has dropped further down in business on Day 4, Monday.

The film, starring Sanjay Dutt, Vivek Oberoi, Arshad Warsi and Paresh Rawal managed to garner a box office collections of Rs 18 million (1.8 crore) net on its fourth day, on Monday.

This was a further drop from previously lackluster collections of approximately Rs 34 million (Rs 3.40 crore) net on Day 1, and a fall to Rs 29 million (2.9 crore) on Day 2, respectively. Day 3 Sunday saw an average business in the range of Rs 42 million (4.2 crore), and which brought the 3-day total to Rs 105 million (Rs 10.5 crore) net.

As previously reported, ‘Zilla Ghaziabad’ saw an poor occupancy of an average 15 to 18%, with the only respite coming from single screens in the mass markets of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar

The 4 Day total stands at a dismal Rs 123 million (12.3 crore). Further, the future for ‘Zilla Ghaziabad looks weak with last Friday’s other big release, Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kai Po Che’ dominating the box office at multiplexes in metros.
