Listen: Beyonce And Coldplay Present Hymn For The Weekend

[tps_footer]Hollywood musicians Beyonce and band Coldplay are ready with their latest track Hymn for the Weekend and we’re loving it. The feel good track is soulful to the core and as promised by Chris Martin, we can definitely see a different side of Beyonce in this track. Unlike her usual center stage running the show vibes, Queen Bey has taken a backseat for this track and still managed to add her magic touch to it. Her soulful RnB vocals have blended beautifully with Coldplay‘s composition.

According to the story shared by the band Coldplay, Beyonce was quick to respond with a yes when they approached her for a collaboration. So much so that the band members say she was in and out of the studio within five minutes after doing her part! That is definitely some Queen moves! Apparently the song earlier had party type lyrics ‘Drinks on me, drinks on me’. But then the band decided that such type of lyrics will not settle well with their fan base and hence the changes were made and Chris immediately thought of asking Beyonce to sing the same.

Coldplay artist Guy Berryman revealed the same to BBC during an interview and said that Beyonce is unbelievably professional and that the band is blessed to have her sing in one of their songs. Well surely Hymn for the Weekend is going to become everyone’s favourite and we’re loving how Beyonce is expanding her horizon by collaborating with artists from different genres. The Run the World singer is surely ruling the world and has no plans of stopping any time soon.
