Cellufun adds Sony Pictures & Disney veteran to executive team

MUMBAI: Cellufun, the mobile social gaming community, has expanded their business development team to include Andy Bishop as the vice president of business development.

During his career, Bishop has been integral in developing winning strategic alliances and negotiating multi-million dollar business development deals through significant roles at Walt Disney Internet Group, Sony Pictures Digital and Sony Pictures Television International as well as at Digital Entertainment Network and Palm. He negotiated key business partnerships with online and mobile industry leaders such as Verizon, Yahoo, Vodafone, ABC Television, Google, Sprint, and others. In conjunction with these partners he oversaw the development of national and international cross-platform marketing campaigns involving top-tier television shows, movies and video games.

Prior to joining Cellufun, Bishop served as vice president of mobile entertainment at Sony Pictures Television, where he created a national multi-media partnership with AT&T and TV Broadcaster Telemundo to launch the telenovela Zorro – La Espada Y La Rosa.

"Cellufun is an entertainment platform that allows mobile operators, studios, and advertisers to reach their audience on any phone in the world. Andy’s global track record with Sony and Disney will help to further accelerate the already rapid growth that Cellufun has seen," said Cellufun CEO Neil Edwards.
