Tamil superstar Ajith who recently underwent knee surgery has been advised bed rest, and a close source has revealed his further movie plans. Ajith made a huge comeback with his recently released film ‘Vedalam’ during which the actor got injured while shooting for a fighting sequence. Earlier we had revealed that the injury took place at the exact same place where the actor was hurt during previous film’s shoot. Despite advises, Thala continued with the shoot which might have worsened the injury and the actor was suggested to undergo knee surgery.
The surgery was initially planned to take place on November 24, but due to unbearable pain, Thala underwent the surgery few days back and has now been advised complete bed rest for the next three months! Reportedly, the surgery was performed at Kumaran hospital on Thursday night. On Friday, the surgery started around 7.30 pm and went on till almost 7 hours! However the surgery was a complete success, and now only time will heal the superstar completely.

Meanwhile sources close to the star and ‘Vedalam’ team have revealed that apparently Ajith’s 57th film has already begun its process. If sources are to be believed Ajith will once again be working with ‘Vedalam’ director Siva. The same was decided by the duo while working together for ‘Vedalam’, and this will be their third venture together. Reportedly this film will go on the floors in the second half of 2016. Well after such a splendid performance in ‘Vedalam’, we’re sure Thala fans will be more than excited to learn more about his next venture.
‘Vedalam’ saw Ajith in the dual personality role where his performance won audiences’ support for the film. It also starred actresses Shruti Haasan, Laxmi Menon and actors Aniket Chouhan, Kabir Singh among others. We wish the superstar a speedy recovery post surgery!
