WHOA! Guess How Much Mahesh Babu’s Song In Brahmotsavam Cost?

Mahesh-BabuWell it seems like money really grows on the trees of Tollywood stars who spend lavishly for their movies. We’re not complaining since the end results are usually worth it. Reportedly, a whooping amount of Rs. 3.5 crores has been spent on a single track featuring Mahesh Babu and other stars from their upcoming film ‘Brahmotsavam’. The amount was spent to set up the sets and more to shoot the entire track which features newcomer Chandini Chowdary breaking a leg with Mahesh Babu.

After hearing the cost of this single track, anticipation to watch it has certainly risen. No details have been revealed like which song is it, or who has composed it and sung it etc. Although it is being said that the track will feature the entire cast including Pranitha Subhash, Jayasudha, Sayaji Shinde, Tanikella Bharani, Naresh and Krishna Bhagwan. The film stars Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha Prabhu as the leading ladies.

Reportedly Kollywood veterans Sathyaraj and Revathy will be playing Mahesh Babu‘s parents in the film. Which makes us wonder what the storyline would be as Mahesh Babu is known for his appealing image as a family guy. The shooting of the film is planned to wrap up by December as actor Mahesh Babu has allotted 90 days to ‘Brahmotsavam’.

‘Brahmotsavam’ is directed by Srikanth Addala and produced by Prasad V Potluri of PVP Cinemas. Mickey J Meyer has given the music of the film. Edited by Sreekar Prasad,  Rathnavelu has done the cinematography. The film is scheduled to hit theaters around the festival of Sankranti in January 2016. It will be interesting to see so many leading ladies of south industry together with superstar Mahesh!

Mahesh Babu who has had number of his Telugu films dubbed in Tamil is looking forward to finally doing a film in Kollywood as ‘Brahmotsavam’ is a bilingual film set to be shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. The actor was earlier supposed to enter Tamil film industry under Mani Ratnam‘s direction but the project got shelved due to budget issues.
